The Tumor is Shrinking!

Mom just came from the radiation oncologist.
He said the tumor is shrinking.
They won't have more details for a few more weeks.
They will change treatments for the remainder of her course.
She was concerned that if the tumor was shrinking, why wasn't her cough going away?
The answer was that the area is irritated.
He recommened elderberry juice for the cough.
Mom bought some, noting that it is produced in Israel.

While I was talking to an old friend at the Jewish Federation, where I used to work, she noted that while researching L-Glutamine for her digestive issues, she noticed that there was a great deal of information about how it helps people undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiation treatments. Mom felt well enought to go to the professional tennis matches the other day and watched Agassi play. And win. Good role model. He was down. Came back and won.
